WarHorse Casino Omaha Features Blackjack, More Gamblingtourist

The new casino in Nebraska’s largest city expects to attract plenty of guests to their 925 different gaming options. This of course includes Nebraska blackjack, which can be found at some of their 20 live dealer tables or video blackjack machines.

Guests can also enjoy their choice of 800 slot machines, horse betting, a sportsbook, and an assortment of restaurants and bars. However, the “racino” won’t fully introduce horse racing activities until the lone race of the year takes place on September 29 due to ongoing construction.

In order for Nebraska casinos to offer blackjack and other games, they must host a state-minimum of one horse race per year for their first three years in operation. WarHorse Casino Omaha is connected to Horsemen’s Park to suffice that requirement.

Revenue numbers are expected to be huge, as Nebraska casinos made more than $10.56 million in gaming tax revenue in the first six months of 2024. Residents now won’t have a need to cross the Missouri River and play Iowa blackjack, as the new Omaha location will keep more tax revenue in-state.
